ABOUT BRETAÑA'S ACADEMY
Head of Academy's Welcome,
Señora Bretaña is the Program Director and owner of Bretaña's Learning Academy. Bretaña opened The Learning Academy in Memphis TN in 2003. She graduated highschool at the age of 15. She got her first job at age 15 and worked until she was 22 years old. Her goal is to create a total immersion environment and outstanding curriculum with a high level of academic excellence in which children look forward to coming to school each day while developing a lifelong love of learning and a proficiency in English, Spanish, Chinese and ASL. She has always had a passion for children and language and loves her job.
We are not your average in home day care (or any day care provider for that matter). Not only do we teach them and get them ready for preschool|elementary in a fun and loving way but your child(ren) will also learn four different languages such as English, Spanish, ASL and Mandarin Chinese. You will notice a difference within the first day *depending on child.
We strive to make learning FUN! If a child is having fun, he/she will learn anything. Each child will be given the chance to grow and develop at his/her own pace. We believe that we are partners with parents and together we strive to fulfill each child’s potential. We hope that every child will experience the fun and joy of learning.

Our Philosophy
Our Academy strives to provide a quality educational experience to children of all races, faiths, and nationalities. Every child will be treated in a positive, warm, and loving manner. Children pass through various stages of growth and development, and we know that each child’s development is uniquely his/her own and will be handled as such. We want the time children spend at Bretaña's Learning Academy to be enjoyable, fruitful, and fun.Children learn through hands-on activities in which they are allowed to mature and develop at their own pace. Our curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate and success oriented learning experiences. We believe educational, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development should take place with an even balance in each area.

Bretaña's Learning Academy is family-owned and operated right here in Memphis, TN. Since our company opened in 2003, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.
